Two-color LED light-emitting diode, that is, one LED light-emitting diode can emit two colors of light ○
Under normal circumstances, the two-color LED has the following types:
1. Three-pin two-color LED. This kind of lamp has three legs. The middle leg is a common pole, one on both sides is a straight leg and the other is an oblique leg, each corresponding to a color. Take an example of red and green co-yang. Generally straight feet correspond to red. Oblique corresponds to green, when the current is charged from the middle to the straight leg. The red light works; when the current flows from the middle to the slanted foot. Green light works; when the current flows from the middle Taotong to the straight feet and oblique knees. The red and green lights work at the same time. Blend into yellow. The general circuit will choose the red and green of this two-color LED to indicate the two working states of the circuit. For special ones, there will be a third mixed color, but the consistency of this mixed color is more difficult to grasp.
2. Four feet and two colors. This kind of two-color LED is that the left two feet and the right two feet respectively form two loops to drive the two colors to indicate the working state of the two circuits.
3. Two colors on both feet. This kind of bi-color LED is also called bidirectional LED. This two-color LED cleverly uses the volt-ampere characteristics of light-emitting diodes. Take an example of red and green bidirectional LEDs. This T has only two legs, one long leg and one short leg. The P pole of the red LED, that is, the positive pole is welded to the long leg, the N pole, that is, the negative pole is welded to the short leg; the F pole of the green LED is welded to the short leg, and the N pole is welded to the long leg; when the current flows from the long leg to the short leg Yang time. The red light works normally, and the green light does not work because the reverse is not conducting; when the current flows from the short leg to the long leg, the green light works normally, and the red light does not work, so that the flow of no current is achieved to control the red and green colors.
